The longer my hair gets, the more pressured I become to style it. Banana Republic button-down shirt (similar) // Dress (50% in stores now)// Shoes // Banana Republic earrings (love these from Givenchy )
Good Morning! I wore this to church yesterday for Palm Sunday. You all know I establised cobalt blue as my color of the year, so I was estatic to find this dress on sale for $30. It was the only size left, and although it is a size 10, I like baggy fits on shift dresses. The ruffle details on this shift dress makesit more stylish and playful. Decided to throw it over a pink button down, and keep the monotone look by opting for my beloved Hangisi pumps.
My hair? Well I was in my girlfriend’s wedding this past weekend and I knew the wash and go look wouldn’t cut it. I decided to try a hair style I first saw on Teyonah Parris. Initially, I used Kanekalon hair for the mohawk, but after the wedding, the hair got frizzy so I decided to redo this updo with my real hair. Didn’t think it was possible but it worked out better than the first try! If you’d like me to make a video on how to do it, let me know!
-God Bless You!
