To Read More

We’re going on  field trips moving forward on Just Missed the Runway. Ready?

H&M Earrings and Jacket  (50% off)// Banana Republic Trousers (add’l 40% off)// Christian Louboutin Pumps

One of my goalsI wrote doewn for 2015 was to read more. I didn’t specify whether it’ll be for pleasure or for knowledge…just to read. Unfortunately and fortunately, the only books I read now are for grad school and the Bible (by the way, I highly recommend it. It’s a really good read by an author [and finisher of my faith] called God).

God has been placing a spirit of creativity on me this year, so I’m just trying to channel it through JMTR. What initally started as an escape from the cold soon became an awesome idea to start taking destination shots. I can’t be bothered to shoot outside all the time.

Surprisingly, this blazer jacket is still available at H&M and on sale! On this day, I wanted to wear a monochrome look to work so I paired the jacket with these perfectly fitted color-blocked trousers and patent leather pumps.

Have a great day! Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram and Twitter.

-God Bless You.

The vibe of this outfit = New York Best Seller at her book signing.

The hair is right. I can tell how much you appreciate diversity and culture. The achromatic look is appropriate and the Louboutins are the icing on the cake. Nice job!

Great idea! I love this post! I’m also looking to read more this year! I used to be a bookworm until I started having kids… There’s not a lot peace and quiet to read when you’ve got toddlers running around the house! But that’s no excuse!
