Iro and Buba

Call me Uzoamaka… Wait Is that even a real nigerian name?

Iro&Buba Custom Design (Mood Fabrics) // Christian Louboutin Pumps

A few weeks ago I got an Iro and Buba (Nigerian style) made for my friend’s wedding!

When I saw this fabric at Mood Fabrics, I was reminded of the Prada Campaign SS12. At $25 per yard, its a pretty expensive silk material. But when I lay my eyes on something I love, there’s really no stopping me from buying it.

I used a little less than 4 yards to make this outfit; also learned how to tie the Iro (skirt) via YouTube.

If you’re interested in getting an Iro and Buba made, email me (auntiechristieblogs@gmail.com) and I’ll direct you to my seamstress.

Be blessed!
