My Beauty Regimen

Sharing my beauty secrets with you!

My makeup c/o Black Radiance Beauty Products

(Yesterday I bought a new lens. Pic above is a test shot of my new lens. I am also wearing Black Radiance products, with the exception of eyebrows and mascara.)

Two months ago, my skin was terrible and my edges were thinning out. So I decided I would start a strict regimen and focus on my hair, skin, and nails. One of my New Year’s Resolutions was to stay away from the nail salon by doing my own manicures and pedicures. This would help my nails grow and also allow me to save more money!

I am pleased to say my efforts have resulted in positive gains. My nail beds are very long and thick, my edges are 90% back, and my skin is so vibrant now. I’ll dedicate another post to my nails, but today let me tell you about my face routine.

1. FLAX SEED. FLAX SEED. FLAX SEED.

Every night, I wash my face with Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash, then I pop a flaxseed oil pill with my teeth, pour 1/4 of the oil on my face, then consume the last 3/4’s. This is definitely my secret to vibrant clear skin.

2. Bentonite Clay & Apple Cider Vinegar face mask.

This mask helps to draw out impurities and toxins from your skin, repairs damaged tissues, absorbs excess oil from face, and tightens and tones the skin. This mask is perfect for us oily face beauties. I do this mask once every 2 weeks but you can do it once a week. I purchase both in Whole Foods.

3. Water. Water. Water.

I do not have a preference on the brand of water I drink. However, this 1 Liter  Smart Water bottle is convenient for me, as I refill and drink two of them everyday.

4. Black Radiance beauty products ( foundation in particular)

This is the honest truth- Black Radiance sent me a ton of makeup several weeks ago and I was so excited because I ALREADY USED MANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS! The Color Perfect Oil Free Liquid Foundation is a MUST for us melanin darlings. My shade is Cocoa Bean, which is the second to last darkest shade. I love the application stick AND the full coverage it gives me. Honestly speaking, I think it’s under-rated and under- priced at $4.99… Yes just 5 BUCKS! I always choose this foundation over my more pricey products: Lancôme, Bobbi Brown, MAC, and Stilla.

Hope this post was helpful! I will make a video of my makeup routine so that you can see how I apply the makeup.

Be blessed!
