(Standing by The National Mosque by Kanda Highway in Accra)
(I snapped this picture while in a taxi in Osu (Accra). It’s a clear example of gentrification in Ghana. Accra, in particular, is saturated with Asians, Turkish, and European people and architecture. It makes me wonder if the Ghanaian people can create their own architectural wonders, without the influences of other nations. )

Three weeks in Ghana was well needed. The younger me would say it was too short of a trip, but twenty-six year old Christina says it was just enough. In 2017, I said I would be more positive so I’m not going to discuss some of my frustrations while in Ghana…Just don’t use MTN’s network EVER. #boycottMTN! Happy New Year!
