My Trip to Ghana

(Standing by The National Mosque by Kanda Highway in Accra)

(I snapped this picture while in a taxi in Osu (Accra). It’s a clear example of gentrification in Ghana. Accra, in particular, is saturated with Asians, Turkish, and European people and architecture. It makes me wonder if the Ghanaian people can create their own architectural wonders, without the influences of other nations. )

(Basking in the sun, while in my front yard.)

(Having drinks (non-alcoholic for me) at Lord of the Wings in Cantonments, Accra).

(Quick photo op while shopping in Kaneohe Market; wearing FCUK romper and Aldo sandals. Hair inspired by @allthingsAmmaMama)

Wearing an Ann Taylor Dress, and Sam Edelman Shoes on my porch.)

(One of my favorite spots in Accra, Bosphorous Turkish Restaurant. Wearing a Forever 21 Wedged Heels, and a Yoana Baraschi dress.)

(Wearing a MakeMeChic Top, Asos Shorts, Arturo Chiang Sandals & Banana Republic bag)

(Wearing River Island Dress, Banana Republic bag, Isopera Sandals)

Wearing an African print head wrap, Michael Kors bag, H&M Sandal Heels, and Shein Dress)

(Wearing a dress gifted from my aunty & Windsor heels)

(Chatting with my cousin at The Cupcake Boutique)

Three weeks in Ghana was well needed. The younger me would say it was too short of a trip, but twenty-six year old Christina says it was just enough. In 2017, I said I would be more positive so I’m not going to discuss some of my frustrations while in Ghana…Just don’t use MTN’s network EVER. #boycottMTN! Happy New Year!
