Well good morning my lovely family! Hope you had a wonderful weekend just as I did. I’ll tell you more about it this week as there will be a new post everyday this week! (LORD what am I promising!?). The lovely people at Grass-fields sent me this mini dress! Initially, I thought it was too short, until I tried it on; and then I realized it isn’t so bad after all!
I love how thick this African- print material is; do not quote me but I think it’s dutch wax – which is one of the better quality African prints we Ghanaians use to sew our clothes. My only criticisms regarding the dress (because you know I always tell you) is that the elastic shoulder is too short for my broad shoulders, so it was difficult for me to move as freely as I wanted to. The only other thing I noticed is that because I am quite big in the bum and leg area, the dress would have served me better if it was a wider a-line or skater dress! Conclusion? I needed a medium not a small! Dare I say go a size up?
See you all tomorrow, God- willing!
