Forgive me of my absence! No time for excuses, time to get to work! We have so much planned for the blog, my dears!
Winter is approaching us (or so it seems) so it’s time to pull out the wools and cashmeres. This outfit reminded me so much of high school. I went to a catholic school, so my uniform was just about the same as pictured above. Here’s an example of how I combine summer and winter clothing. I wore a simple white collared shirt with a full skirt and sling back heels. I added a wool blazer and tortoise sunnies to winterize the look.
-Thanks for visiting! Come back tomorrow for some goodies!
Ankara Shirt (Available Soon) // Topshop Skirt (Sold out) // River Island Floppy Hat // Zara Heels (Sold Out) // H&M Sunnies
Happy Monday!! I hope your weekend was as awesome as mine!
It started off Friday night at an awesome Worship service at my church! Saturday I caught up with my girls, Joni and Makayda, and celebrated our last meetup for awhile since Joni just started law school (All my friends win, Aunty). Then on Sunday, I went to church as per usual, did some homework (blah), then went to the Afropunk Festival with my closest, oldest friends. It was such a good time catching up and being loud and crazy like high school days.
Here’s another one of my pieces I had made. I wanted to do another mixed -print look so I paired it with my TopShop skirt, highlighted the hues of blue with a TopShop floppy hat, and solidified the look with white heeled sandals.
P.S. I have been so busy I haven’t a chance to pick winners for the giveaway I am hosting on my Instagram! Then I thought- “Wait! I didn’t mention it on my blog.” SOOOO if you’re interested in winning any of the items below, please follow me on Instagram and tag your IG handle on one of the pictures of the two bags! I will contine the giveaway for a few more days and then ship them out free of charge to the winners! Yaay! Good Luck!
Zara Top, Pants, and Heels // UO Bag // Aldo Sunnies
As much as I love to get dolled up, some occasions call for a sporty look. On one of my random “window shopping” days, I bought this whole entire get-up.
If you want to go for a casual look but still keep it cute, opt for joggers with great detailing- like zippers going down the side of the pants;top it with a funky but comfortable heel, and you’re good to gizzle!
This shoot was interesting, to say the least. From the annoying guys at a neighboring block party to the Gran Aunty’s face of disapproval in the last pic, I’m still learning to block it all out and get to WERK.
Told you I’m obsessed with this top. This time around I paired it with my white skirt with ruffles and Ivanka Trump heels that everyone swears is from Valentino.
Did you hear about this week’s giveaway? Well this brand new bag I am wearing in this post is one item I’m giving away! Follow me on Instagram for more deets!
