It’s not really like Aunty Christina to buy a pair of shoes and not wear it until a few months later. However, the sole reason (no pun intended) I am just now wearing these babies is because I didn’t have a bag to match…until I decided to take the pearls from my jewelry box and it clicked! Inspired by the new designs from Kate Spade, I figured there’s absolutely nothing wrong with wearing a jewelry box as a purse! If KSNY can design a purse from a chinese take-out box and rolled-up magazine, I can do something funky too. By the way, I am seriously crushing on A L L T H I N G S K A T E S P A D E. I hope this inspired you to take your style to different extremes.

Everyone needs mirrored sunglasses. I love how cool they make you look.
Finding things in your closet that you never wear?! Yeah that happened today with these shoes. It seems like I’ve been wearing 3 inch heels lately. Idk what’s up with that but I dusted off these platform peep toes for a lunch date. Cobalt blue is one of those power colors. No matter your complexion or size, it’ll bring attention to you. And for a little extra sass, I wore a bright pink Primark clutch that’s about 8 years old.
Got this sequenced cropped top a few months ago from the Zara sale for $9.99. Sorry if ya missed it 🙁 because this was beyond a steal. Paired it with my pencil skirt from Primark in London. Can’t wait to go back in August. *Squeals* The glasses were 2 for $20 at Aldo and you first saw this bag on the blog here. I love how luxe it looks! Reminds me of the Phillip Lim Pashli that I adore. So these Zara heeled sandals were big last summer, and it looks like the style is making a comeback for this Spring/Summer seasons. Happy I got them for $10 at last summer’s Zara sale. Who said you had to pay big $$$ to look good?
Jacket & Skirt: Joe Fresh // Bag & Necklace: Banana Republic // Cardigan: J. Crew (Old) // Blouse: Zara // Loafers: Tod’s (LOVE THIS ONE!!)// Heels: Marc by Marc Jacobs (LOVE this color on Sale!) // Glasses: Wet Seal
Having this crazy obsession with all things printed but like all things, it will come to an end. At this point, you should be familiar with my obsession with Joe Fresh. I was so excited to pick up the last one of this jacket! I can’t believe I found the blue one online for you guys. (To buy or not to buy? That is the question).
Simply can’t commute to work in heels anymore as its taken a serious toll on my shins. I decided to throw on the Tod’s loafers for comfort then change into my gifted Marc Jacobs. Its cold in my office, so I threw on my old J. Crew cardigan for extra warmth.
I feel like I have so much more personality than what’s portrayed on my blog! But I’m working on shooting more of my versatile looks sooo. Please feel free to let me know what you would like to see!
Blouse: Zara // Skirt: Peter Pilotto for Target //Bag: Tory Burch for Target // Shoes: Zara // Watch: Skagen // Nails: O.P.I. “Who the Shrek Are You?”
I’m really annoyed with myself these days. Its as if I’m getting by in life instead of trying to live. Working on organization for the upcoming weeks. Yesterday evening, I met with my girl Vonecia after work and had dinner. I met her a few months back at Heather Lindsey’s speaking engagement in Brooklyn! She is really awesome, check out her blog! She decided to take a few impromptu pics of me at Times Square after dinner; and me being Aunty Christina, I could never pass up an offer to shoot.
Here’s what I wore to work and dinner: Love this chiffon blouse from Zara. It’s quite sheer so I had to wear black under garments on the inside. While I was shopping for a client, I snagged this Peter Pilotto skirt (among other pieces smh) on sale at Target. I plan on restyling this skirt for a more casual look so stay tuned for that! This Tory Burch x Target LUNCH BOX (yes you heard correctly!) was gifted to me on my birthday, along with the matching thermos flask. I carry my lunch in it everyday to work but its mere coincidence that it matched with another Target designer collab piece. I won!
The goal is to have a “Week in my Wardrobe” post this weekend. Pray like Elijah for no rain tomorrow. LOL.
