BREAKING NEWS: Alexander Wang announces H&M Collaboration

a wang

Happy Palm Sunday! It’s 6:30 AM. I missed it. Just like the runway, I missed the breaking news! After what seemed to be such a difficult night, from a pipe bursting in my COOP, to finding out we won’t have water for the next 2 days, I just couldn’t be bothered. I called it a night around 10pm. But thank the Good Lord I am an early riser! How then would I be able to find out about the above!

I nearly fell off my desk chair hearing about this surprising and unexpected news! Alexander Waannnnnngggg, God Bless your heart! Wang, also the creator director for Balenciaga, will be including a collection of men and women clothing, as well as accessories.“Alexander Wang is one of the most important voices in fashion today,” H&M’s creative advisor Margareta van den Bosch said. “He understands exactly what people want to wear and does it with an energy and passion that’s infectious. It feels incredible to be collaborating with him this year.” I agree van den Bosch. I agree!

Chic // Chill

Sweater/Jumper: Urban Outfitters Sale // Skirt: Joe Fresh Store but found here via JC Penny // Heels: Jeffrey Campbell (Similar Here) // Leopard Phone Case: Urban Outfitters Sale // Hat: Forever 21 // Leopard Cuff: BCBG Max Azria, Midi Rings: H&M (Alternative) // Nail Polish: Essie’s New ‘Hide & Go Chic’ // Lippie: MAC Red

How funny is this sweater/jumper? How many of you would actually make that deal with God?  Hehehe. So,today I’m wearing it with my $7 faux fur skirt from Joe Fresh. I’m so glad I was able to find it for you guys online at  JCPenny! (FYI, it has pockets in the front. ) Just to give this really chill look a little sass, I wore my Jeff. Campbell strappy gladiator heels. Soooo comfy!! Now that bags are becoming so last season, I figured I’d just carry my phone in this cute leopard phone holder. After all, you don’t want to carry a big bag when shopping for clients. (FYI, if it’s leopard/cheetah, it’s goes! Thats one print I will never stop buying.) Stay tuned for a haul video!

-I hope those of you in NYC are enjoying this weather. Please don’t forget to like this post, like my FB page, and follow my blog!

Sport Luxe

Okay, so I had a little too much to eat! So what?! LOL

Top & Bottom: H&M (Pants Here)// Shoes: Zara (Similar Here) // Sunglasses: RayBan (Similar New Wayfarers) // Lippie: MAC Red

Something about the color navy blue and collared shirts that drive me wild. I’m so in love with classic pieces, and for me, collared button-up shirts will always be classic. Hennes &Mauritz  made me smile when they made this shirt. Adding trend (cropped and stripes) to class (button-up) is the perfect way to balance class and trend. What I love about these jogging pants is the silk material going down the sides. It give it that tuxedo feel! Throw on nude heeled sandals, sunnies, and you’re good to go for a quick frozen yogurt date!

Spice UP Your Life

Who remembers the Spice Girls??? Well, I was such a fan in grade school….from the music, to the movie, to the lolipops with the Spice Girls stickers….ahhhhhhhh good stuff. Well, when I saw these shoes it reminded me of the Spice Girls and a pair of shoes I made my mom buy me from Ravel (shoe boutique in Clapham Junction, London) during the Spice Girls reign.

Here’s what I wore on an unusually nice Spring night! I don’t always dress down. But when I do, I like to wear loafers! And these funky ones are not excluded 🙂

Leather Jacket: Zara (Old) // Shirt: Joe Fresh (I paid $2) // Lumberjack Sweater: Forever 21 // Jeans: Joe Fresh (I paid $7) // Loafers: Schutz // Bag: Zac Posen

When I was younger, I chose to carelessly iron my sunflower dress without clothes on. I have been scarred ever since but it wasn’t until recently that I became comfortable with it… Proof that I’m a thug.

Now that I’m without hair, I’m easily affected by strong winds and cold temperatures. What I love about this Talbots bucket hat is how structured and chic it can make an outfit.

I’m loving how the brim of this hat matches perfectly with the patent leather lining of my coat. Bought this old thang from Burlington Coat Factory for $40.

These leopard heels are from Zara. Its such an old collection but you can probably find them on eBay. This H&M pin-striped cropped top had me at “Hello…” Well actually the $15 price tag did… My pants are from Style & Co. and my clutch is Alfani.

MAC Candy Yum Yum on the Lippie 🙂
