Happy Sunday! Today’s sermon was heavily focused on forgiveness, which was much needed. “In order to do business with God, the currency is forgiveness.” And this also means, apologizing to those you have offended.
This isn’t what I wore to church but I’m heading to my cousin’s baby shower so I decided to change and do an impromptu shoot. Hope you enjoy!
Patent Leather Jacket: Zara (Sold Out)// Dress: 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target (Sold Out but found on eBay) // Jeans: Old Navy // Belt: Moschino // Shoes: Giuseppe Zanotti (Sold out but similar Here & Here) // Sunglasses: Burberry (Similar Here)
Why must we get 55 degree weather with strong winds? It’s so unnecessary. But it served as an advantage for to me to play on a trend I’m loving- dresses paired with jeans. It’s a sure way to look fashionable while keeping warm.
I finally stretched out these shoes using the ice method. I was actually able to keep them on while driving and doing errands. I am currently editing the video on how to stretch your shoes so stay tuned!!!
Clearly, our Sunday mornings are not the same, Lionel Richie, because there’s nothing easy about my Sunday mornings. In any event, I just couldn’t bother today. Leave it to my hair, or the lack thereof, to be a character witness. Last night was much of a blurr, as I woke up with all the lights on and my cell phone resting between the side of my face and the pillow. (FYI, don’t ever call me late at night. I’m guaranteed to fall asleep midway through your story.) Thankful Fridays are ‘jeans day’ at my firm. Wore this 100% merino wool (heaven on my skin) sweater and my new favorite dark denim jeans. Both are from Joe Fresh, and both were SEVEN DOLLLARS (Thank you Nana for enabling my addiction). Get used to these Tod’s loafer. They’re going to be a Spring favorite of mine. Trench is 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target. Enjoy your weekend! Boy do I have some goodies coming up!
Don’t make it too easy for me to pick 3 winners for the giveaway. There’s still time to be a winner…or I could easily just keep the 3 pieces in my closet and enjoy extra clothing. Check out the video here.
Good Morning. Back to artic weather in NYC. Most of my winter work wear is at the dry cleaners so I had limited options this morning. But then I thought, “Aunty, don’t let the cleaners stop you! Go layer your clothing.” Today I wore this Talbots dress and layered it with one of the $2 turtlenecks I scored from Joe Fresh. Speaking of Joe Fresh, I LOVE Kone & Neka for telling me they sell Joe Fresh at JC Penny. You should see my shopping cart. TERRIBLE! Anyway, my boots are the Latrice Me Too Boots.
Just a Reminder:
Be sure to participate in the GIVEAWAY. See the blog post below! I also changed the requirements to make the process much easier.
Yes, I am aware you can barely see my face in the video. I watch my videos before posting, guys lol. Somewhere between media sharing on iMovie and uploading on Youtube I made a boo boo because the actual filming came out fine. I refuse to suffer myself and re-upload. It took way too many hours. Bear for now, but moving forward, that shouldn’t happen again.
