Accra Mall

If ever you’re in Ghana and visit Accra Mall, please stay away from these cuties who migrated from Chad. They go around harassing people, especially tourists, for money. I know its hard to resist these cuties but TRUST ME, they are crooks! IMG_4150 IMG_4151 IMG_4155

H&M Sunnies // River Island Cropped Top & Pencil Skirt  (Try this)// Isopera Sandals (Similar Style on SALE) // Forever 21 Messenger Bag (Try this) // MAC Candy Yum Yum Lipstick

While I was in Ghana, I went to Accra Mall (biggest mall in our capital) to get some groceries. I wore this yellow cropped top that I have been wearing just about everyday since I bought it on sale. I paired it with a blue laced pencil skirt and leopard sandals. As fancy as this look may seem, it was actually a very functional and casual outfit for me in Ghana.

It’s not always you want to carry around a professional camera. Sometimes the trusty iPhone 5s works wonders!

Amir’s Weekend Recap

There are a few obsessions I have in this world… Among those include shopping. English Bulldogs, and my godson Amir.

New York has been enjoying a very cool summer. I am not sure we have reached 90 degrees yet. At any rate, I am not complaining. The cool weather allows us to get away with wearing long sleeve tops, blazers, and trousers. Although I believe beauty can sometimes be painful, nothing beats comfortable beauty. That’s why I’m a fan of full tea skirts. Not only do they provide versatility, (can be dressed up or dressed down-as seen in this post) but they add girly twist.

For quite some time now, the fashion world has adopted the sailor uniform as one of their own; incorporating nautical styles with pretty much any print out there. And after yesterday’s post, I realized how much use I can get with these heels. Purchased years ago, I pretty much forgot about them until last weekend when I purged my closet of almost 1/3 of my belongings (Poshmark closet will be up soon). Since then, I’ve worn the shoes about 3 times. You’ll see much more of these in the future!
