With my serious love for suits, I couldn’t pass up this mini skirt suit I saw on sale at H&M for $14. Yes! $7 for the blazer and $7 for the skirt. And if that wasn’t good enough, they were having buy 2 get one free so I actually got a white blouse for free too! I love that this suit is modern and stylish with the diagonal zipper going across. Since its pinstriped, I decided to play on the stripe pattern and add a stripped cropped top with mesh detailing on the back. Hope you guys have a happy friday! Don’t forget to like my post and tell me how you would wear this suit! I’m thinking chuck taylors next! Stay tuned 🙂
Shirt: Urban Outfitters (on Sale) // Jeans: Urban Outfitters (on Sale) // Shoes: Christian Louboutin (old) // wallet: Louis Vuitton (old) // Earrings: Boutique in NJ // Sunnies: Burberry // Lippie: MAC Red
I was so excited to get these boyfriend jeans with distressed detailing from Urban Outfitters. And how cute is this back-exposed cropped top? It’s really innocent in the front and then POWWW in the back! LOL. Don’t forget to like and comment on my posts! I want to feel the love!!!
Shirt: Loft (Similar) // Pearl Necklace: J. Crew // Sunglasses: Aldo (love these) // Pants: Banana Republic (other colors here) // Shoes: Jessica Simpson (Sold Out; love these) // Clutch: Primark (Very old from London)
Everyone needs mirrored sunglasses. I love how cool they make you look.
Finding things in your closet that you never wear?! Yeah that happened today with these shoes. It seems like I’ve been wearing 3 inch heels lately. Idk what’s up with that but I dusted off these platform peep toes for a lunch date. Cobalt blue is one of those power colors. No matter your complexion or size, it’ll bring attention to you. And for a little extra sass, I wore a bright pink Primark clutch that’s about 8 years old.
Got this sequenced cropped top a few months ago from the Zara sale for $9.99. Sorry if ya missed it 🙁 because this was beyond a steal. Paired it with my pencil skirt from Primark in London. Can’t wait to go back in August. *Squeals* The glasses were 2 for $20 at Aldo and you first saw this bag on the blog here. I love how luxe it looks! Reminds me of the Phillip Lim Pashli that I adore. So these Zara heeled sandals were big last summer, and it looks like the style is making a comeback for this Spring/Summer seasons. Happy I got them for $10 at last summer’s Zara sale. Who said you had to pay big $$$ to look good?
Blouse: Zara // Skirt: Peter Pilotto for Target //Bag: Tory Burch for Target // Shoes: Zara // Watch: Skagen // Nails: O.P.I. “Who the Shrek Are You?”
I’m really annoyed with myself these days. Its as if I’m getting by in life instead of trying to live. Working on organization for the upcoming weeks. Yesterday evening, I met with my girl Vonecia after work and had dinner. I met her a few months back at Heather Lindsey’s speaking engagement in Brooklyn! She is really awesome, check out her blog! She decided to take a few impromptu pics of me at Times Square after dinner; and me being Aunty Christina, I could never pass up an offer to shoot.
Here’s what I wore to work and dinner: Love this chiffon blouse from Zara. It’s quite sheer so I had to wear black under garments on the inside. While I was shopping for a client, I snagged this Peter Pilotto skirt (among other pieces smh) on sale at Target. I plan on restyling this skirt for a more casual look so stay tuned for that! This Tory Burch x Target LUNCH BOX (yes you heard correctly!) was gifted to me on my birthday, along with the matching thermos flask. I carry my lunch in it everyday to work but its mere coincidence that it matched with another Target designer collab piece. I won!
The goal is to have a “Week in my Wardrobe” post this weekend. Pray like Elijah for no rain tomorrow. LOL.
