Do you know how much I’ve missed you Aunties and Uncles?! Please forgive my absence, but I won’t make excuses! If you’re folllowing me on Instagram and Twitter than you probably had enough of me!
This past weekend, I went to the Blogging While Brown Conference and let me just say, SHEESH. I’ll talk all about it in my upcoming #BWBNYC photo diary post. (This is going to be the best week on my blog so stay tuned for the next several posts!) Now that we’ve covered housekeeping items….
Zara is really annoying with their continued reductions during semi-annual sale. I mean, how much easier would our shopping lives be if Zara priced items at it’s lowest from day one of sale?! I’ve been stalking this lace top for quite some time, and I’m glad I didn’t buy it before sale time. It is now 10$ cheaper than I bought it for so enjoy! I decided to wear a nude bandeau under it and a pastel blue leather pencil skirt. A bit apprehensive about this skirt because, I mean let’s face it, who wants to wear leather in 80 degree weather? (apparently I do) I wore my fave light Blue Aldo pumps and White coach bag to complete this pastel look.
Hiya! Here’s what I wore to church on Sunday! I love the way mint green and red look together! It makes me feel Christmas-y… Full skirts have become everyone’s obsession and I’m actually happy about that. (The cool thing about this one is that it comes with a shawl 🙂 ) The fact that it’s popular to dress like a woman and not a skeezer makes me smile! I actually got so many compliments from men this day, which also made me smile. Not because I liked the attention, but because it proves that you don’t have to expose your body for people to notice you.
I’ve had this magazine clutch for some time now. It was love at first sight! Originally I purchased the black and white one, but the next day, Dor L’ Dor had the multi-color one so I exchanged it immediately!! What do you think?Photography by The Product Junkie

I own A LOT of dresses simply because it is so easy for me to just throw one on. I can’t remember the last time I wasn’t rushing out the house to get somewhere. Because of my lack of time management skills, I try to compensate by shopping for quick and easy looks- ie. dresses.
I really wish my eyes weren’t always drawn to dresses. That’s why it wasn’t out of the ordinary to spot this pastel number in Forever 21 a few weeks ago. I love that it appears to be a two piece (cropped top and skirt).
I decided to play on the pastel trend by adding pastel pumps and a pastel statement necklace. I completed the look with subtle cat-eye frames.
In today’s episode of parking lot fashion… Ok Aunties & Uncles, I am really sorry for the car background but I gotta work with what I got! Haha… Trust me, it’ll get better 🙂 I took George (my mummy) to the mall and swindled her to some shooting time. Loving this mint cropped knit from Zara that I scored for $17!!! My necklace was on sale for $20 and it was buy one get on free! The jeans are oldies but I remixed it by creating some knee rips with scissors. And these pastel pumps are a new fave from Aldo! Love to All!
