This shoot was interesting, to say the least. From the annoying guys at a neighboring block party to the Gran Aunty’s face of disapproval in the last pic, I’m still learning to block it all out and get to WERK.
Told you I’m obsessed with this top. This time around I paired it with my white skirt with ruffles and Ivanka Trump heels that everyone swears is from Valentino.
Did you hear about this week’s giveaway? Well this brand new bag I am wearing in this post is one item I’m giving away! Follow me on Instagram for more deets!
You ever feel like giving up on everything? Well, I’ve been really out of it lately so I’m trying to renew my mind. What I love about photography is its many ways it can illustrate whatever you want it to illustrate. A picture truly can say a thousand words. Or it can simply just be a picture. Anytime I’m in front of a camera, I forget for those few seconds about my current situation and start to think of the message I want to relay to my audience. Its an escape from reality. But we can’t really escape reality forever, can we?
Paul says in Romans 8:18- “The sufferings of this present times are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” I just want to encourage anyone reading to not be consumed with their current situations, for they do not compare to what we’ll soon experience after this life. That’s why its so important to believe in Jesus Christ and what He did for us on the cross.
These suede Via Spiga shoes are my new favorites. But I guess I say that about everything new, huh?

Happy Mother’s Day to all my fellow mothers. Yes I am the mother to my son, Urkle Jones (turtle). Although today is scorching outside, I still decided to wear this tweed jacket I bought from H&M two years ago for $7. Actually, every article I have on today is less than $30. It’s not what you wear but how you wear it!
Here’s a side view of what I wore to my friend’s wedding today! It was such a beautiful ceremony filled with all sorts of emotions. I actually wore this Talbots two piece to church on my 19th birthday. Many years ago! lol
Can we talk how much I love these Enzo Angiolini Langfords? I’ll tell you how I got these babies for less than $30 in my upcoming fashion haul!
And the bride and groom proceed to leave the church dancing to “Double Double” 🙂
Dress: Talbots // Shoes: Betsey Johnson (on MAJOR SALE + BOGO)// Clutch: Primark
I went to a church member’s traditional engagement today! I wore this old halter top dress from Talbots with my Betsey Johnson floral shoes. I love the pink sole and floral detailing on the platform! Topped this look off with my very old primark clutch! Have a great night!
